ECCO Leather – Social Media

From late 2023 onwards, I managed ECCO Leather’s social channels (Instagram, TikTok and LinkedIn), using them to tell stories around material innovation, designer collaborations and brand moments.

Content focused on making the process visible, from early material development to final runway outcomes, with on-site coverage of events like HOTSHOP, DECOM, Salone del Mobile, and Paris and Copenhagen Fashion Weeks. By showing how materials are physically made and then appear in final collections, the channels connected ECCO Leather to a wider network of designers, brands and creative communities.

My role
I owned the channels end-to-end, from strategy to execution. I developed recurring content formats and created photo, video and copy across platforms.

A key focus was highlighting the making process behind the material. This translated into formats like weekly “tannery dumps”, capturing everything happening inside the tannery, as well as more focused video series explaining specific techniques or finishes. Alongside this, I created content around collaborations, combining process-driven visuals with interviews and final runway results.

I found that showing the full journey, from tactile development to end product, consistently drove stronger engagement across Instagram and TikTok.

In addition to organic content, I managed paid campaigns, created content for product drops on the B2C webshop, and covered events through real-time content. Performance insights were used to continuously refine the approach, ensuring the output stayed both consistent and responsive.
