The ECCO Leather Vault

The ECCO Leather Vault was a B2C webshop (2022–2025) created to make ECCO Leather’s experimental materials accessible to a wider creative audience, from students and makers to emerging designers and small brands.

The platform focused on giving one-off samples and small-batch leathers a second life, shifting materials originally developed for B2B into a more open, consumer-facing context. By doing so, the Vault not only reduced waste, but also positioned ECCO Leather within a broader creative community.

In 2024, we expanded this into the Digital Vault, allowing users to explore and test materials in a 3D environment. This marked a step into digital design, connecting physical craftsmanship with new ways of working. The project gained international exposure, including a feature on Hypebeast.

My role
I was responsible for developing and running the Vault from an operational and creative perspective, translating the initial concept into a functioning and growing platform.

I shaped the day-to-day of the webshop, including product selection, content creation and visual direction, while managing inventory, logistics and customer communication.

On the marketing side, I developed campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, email and Google Ads, and worked with ambassadors to build awareness within relevant creative communities.

Performance insights were used to continuously optimise the platform, from product selection to content and campaign strategy.
